Sleepy

Woo!  Obama won!  Being in Chitown for that was pretty amazing... over a million people in Grant Park. 

Tonight is the second night I am covering my front desk on the overnight shift due to a mad flu epidemic.  What do you do when delierious at 5am?  Blog!  Been working out again at a super swanky club here in the city.  The main draw was that the garage is underground and heated. 

Mike is in San Diego and well.  I am going out there for Turkey Day and we are having dinner at the zoo that day.  Other than that, all is well and I am going to see if I can figure out how to pause the security camera so that the stupid union doesn't know I have ditched the lobby to catch an hour of sleep before I work all day.  G'nite!

So, it has been a year and a half since I posted on here and I figured it can't hurt to update every so often.  I am in Virginia for now, Mike is in Illinois learning to roll in sand.  I still work for the corporate housing giant and they still decide where I live.  The fun in that is that I may be moving next week... to Illinois!  Mike will likely leave shortly after I get there but so it goes.

I am working on a degree from Boston University... maybe even to finish finally!  The tricky thing is that I have never even been to Boston in my life with the wonders of technology.  No real traveling in awhile but I have the itch and am looking at places to go.  I miss China a whole heck of a lot but that requires a commitment that I want to wait until after Mike is done with BUD/S. 

I am down to two animals again, Boots and Sneaker.  They are well but miss their dad.  No kids (thankfully!) and looking to keep it that way for now.  My family is good (still nutty, but good) and being that I drop off the face of the earth on a regular basis I have no idea how anyone else is.  I do hope all is well with the rest of the world!

So... this kinda sucks.... I am waiting for things to happen at this point.  My boss and the guy taking over for me are in a meeting and I am just waiting.  I guest it is better than being grilled all day long!
